HOW TO FIND THE OLD MANOR CLUB

From
the M53 Motorway
• On m/way, follow signs to Wallasey
• Exit at Junction 1, signed Wallasey A554
• Down slip road to roundabout and take 1st exit to New Brighton A554
• Now follow directions below, from Go straight on, past Golf Club
From the Liverpool - Wallasey Tunnel
• After toll booths, keep to right and follow signs M53 Chester
• Do NOT go on to m/way, but bear left, down to roundabout, then take 2nd exit signed New Brighton A554
• Go straight on, past Golf Club and church, to New Brighton Promenade, turning right along the promenade with the sea wall on your left
• Go along promenade towards L'pool skyline
• Go straight on at Welcoming Clown roundabout
• Go straight on with railings on your left to next roundabout. Turn right to Seacombe Ferries A554
• Up hill to traffic lights. Straight on up steeper hill
• At top of hill, continue straight on past shops, then houses, towards a church tower, dead ahead
• At church, turn right signed Liscard B5142. (This is Manor Road.)
• Go up hill, past church and YMCA on left and, as road levels out, take 2nd right into Withens Lane. (If you miss turn, youíll pass the Police Station on your right.
Turn around and go back up hill, taking 1st left.)
• The Club is only a few hundred metres down Withens Lane, on the left. Pass church on your right, houses on left, school playing field wall/railings on right and big sandstone wall on right. Go slow!!
• Immediately after houses, just past sandstone wall and just before Eleanor Court Flats, turn left into The Old Manor Club carpark
For Those Familiar With The Area
• Follow signs to Town Centre : Liscard
• Approaching Liscard, follow signs to New Brighton A551
• At Liscard Centre, stay in middle lane and go straight on through 2 sets of traffic lights within 50m of each other signed New Brighton B5143
• Within another 100m, see side wall of Royal Oak pub on left and Liscard Chippy on right
• Fork right in front of Chippy, signed Police Station . (This is Manor Road)
• Go straight on up hill, past Police Station on left
• Take the next left into Withens Lane
• Now follow last two steps above
